This artwork is made of birds & feathers, with the exception of
a door knob and some roses. Humans have always used feathers as self adornments, betokening status, and among others to show wealth and vitality. During 1500 years so much has been written with feathers, poems, speeches, contracts, books and love letters. Birds are linked to higher knowledge they are the symbol of freedom and live in overall harmony. When we hear them chant we feel happiness, in peace. Birds fly,I think any human would love to be able to fly, we connect this lightness of movement to the freedom of escape or reach in any direction in the void space there is between the ground and the sky. Birds enlighten our lives in a million ways.
