Adriana Napolitano
Adriana Napolitano was born in Matera, South Italy, in 1984. Throughout her life, Adriana has always been fascinated by images, and she was naturally drawn to photography and design. Coming from a family with good manual skills, she cultivated her craftsmanship since her teenage years.
She studied Oriental languages in Rome for a while, but then she was captured by the charm of the film industry and attended to a video editing course in a Film School. All of a sudden, all her passions have converged on one thing, and she started working as a set designer and animator for stop motion videos, combining her love for images and manual work, which later evolved into a happy marriage between craftmanship and photography.
She used to work as assistant for an artist too, and she gradually get involved in the field. She loves nature and she thinks that the connection with it and the surrounding environment opens up many opportunities for an artist. Her goal is to find beauty everywhere, in everyday small things, and try to give it back to others. She strongly believe in the healing power of beauty.
She currently lives in Berlin, Germany, but she’s planning to go back to Italy soon.
