Lovelyne Legerme
Lovelyne Legerme is a Haitian American visual storyteller from Miami, Florida currently residing in Brooklyn, NewYork. She received her BA in Studio Art from the University of South Florida. She picked up a camera 4 years ago and has been working with photo and video asher mediums since then. Her work explores the narratives of black and immigrant homes, family, and ritual. Themes of hair, family dynamics, fashion, and music can be seen throughout her work. Remembering her cultural origins, traditions, and roots through art and oral tradition are an integral part of her work.
